Meet Parksen’s Advisory Board — Episode 3: Nick Reineman

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the third episode of our brand-new series about our advisors. Over the coming weeks, we will introduce the members of the Parksen Advisory Board. By highlighting their experiences, accolades and achievements, we aim to illustrate in which ways they can contribute to the success of the Parksen Green, Smart and Connected City Platform.

Introducing today’s advisor: Nick Reineman.

When first entering the startup industry, Nick had one very clear goal in mind: to add all of the startup founders and CEOs to his ever-growing network of serious entrepreneurs. To facilitate this growth in his personal circles, he founded the Startup Boot (an actual boat that hosts events for startups and tech-savvy entrepreneurs). Since then, Nick has created a network with over 7300 people, and that number is steadily rising.

On the Startup Boot, Nick hosts events specifically for startup founders and CEOs. By connecting the right people, he hopes to offer opportunities for these parties to grow side by side in the most efficient ways.

Since it has been founded, Nick’s Startup Boot has had 66 events which helped over 128 startups with getting subsidized (both locally and internationally), 4 startups with getting funding and 7 with relevant and helpful coaching.

Nick is, essentially, a serial connector. By identifying which parties can best engage in mutually beneficial endeavors, his Startup Boot events make sure that the right hands are shook and the best opportunities are seized.

What is his role within Parksen?

Nick will use his impressive network to get us in touch with relevant parties that can add to the creation of our Green, Smart and Connected City Platform. Be it developers, media or potential investors, thanks to Nick we will be able to locate and contact them a lot sooner.

What does he think of Parksen?

“Parksen is creating the ultimate solution for parking issues in large cities. They will take care of needless and endless searching and help build effective cities that can support the ever-growing needs of their citizens in an efficient and swift manner. ”

We are very glad to have Nick in our corner and we are very excited to see what we can achieve by working together. That’s it for today! Thanks for reading and stay posted for the next advisor.

Cheers,

Jan Heemskerk
